BFC Racing presents Big Fish Bike Club!  First of all it is FREE and an opportunity to ride with friends and meet new people.

The Big Fish Bike Club will plan rides that are usually 30-60 miles in length or whatever the core group of riders agrees upon.

We will try to organize 3 or so rides per quarter which will primarily be based on our individual and team racing schedules.

Butch Nelson, David Marks and Windy Marks from the Big Fish Bike Club and BFC Racing

What is a ride and tie?  Kind of a leap frog event that will have you running and biking.  We will break up into teams of 3 and use 2 bikes for the 3 people.  I will explain more when you arrive.  I am planning to break us into random groups, so you won?t know who you are teamed with until we draw teams.

Note: If you do not have a mountain bike, there may be enough bikes to cover you for this event.

Please RSVP so I know approximately how many folks to plan for.  Call me id f you have question or need a little push to come out. Hm 623 580-1792, cell 623 225-8074, Vickie?s cell 623 229-1089.

Possible Questions:

q. What is the tie to Big Fish Creative?

a. Big Fish Creative, as a part of sponsorship for Dave, Windy, Vickie and I, we have had Jersey’s printed. The sponsor agreed to allow other athletes to wear them as bike club members. Jersey’s will be available for purchase by folks who want them, but are not necessary to ride with the bike club.  Jersey’s have to be ordered in quantities of 10 at a time and cost $60.

q. Do I have to have a road bike to go on rides?

a. At this point, I have no idea.  I guess we will have to see if there is a part of the group interested in doing the route or an abridged version on Mountain Bikes.  I would say that I have certainly seen some mountain bikers keep up with roadies.

q. Can I invite others to ride with us?

a. Yes, as long as they are nice J

q. Do we all have to stay together?

a. No, but I would like everyone to wait at the agreed upon re-group points.

q. If I have a cool route, would the bike club like to know about it?

a. Of course, I am sure we will be interested in various locations throughout the city, state, country

q. Do I have to receive these annoying emails?

a. No, just let me know to take you out of the distribution.
